Lake Patrol officers cover as many as ten lake accesses up and down Old Hickory Lake and the Cumberland River. Several of these recreation areas are some of the most heavily visited in the state. The Lake Patrol utilizes three water crafts. The Lake Patrol’s main focus is water safety and public awareness. The public will mainly see Lake Patrol officers during the holidays and during heavy periods of water traffic.
